Windows Install on SSD - Black/Blank Screen on reboot

So I decided to finally get an SSD and bought one from a fellow overclock.net member, a 60gb Mushkin Callisto.

Anyways when it arrived I followed Sean's Windows 7 Install & Optimization Guide for SSDs & HDDs here on overclock.net and when installing windows I unplugged all other drives, switched the mode to AHCI and installed windows as I would normally do.

Everything went find until the reboot after the initial install and now all I get is a black screen and my monitors just cycles through inputs and nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

Monitors cycling through inputs sound odd and less likely an SSD problem. Have you tried sticking another boot drive in to see if it'll boot?

Yes this only happens with the SSD, I switched back to the original boot drive that I have not wiped yet and everything is fine (using it to type this).

For all intents and purposes my monitor cycles automatically when it experiences no input so it could be nothing, The main issue is after the initial restart I get nothing and cannot complete the installation and use windows.

Try wiping the SSD and try again see if it's replicated.

I have tried switching ports and no luck. My next step was to install windows again with a new bootable USB drive that contained a new windows installation I downloaded. Everything installed fine but this time after the initial restart I got a "Windows is starting up" message and then I saw the hint of a blue screen before the screen went blank.

Any further ideas?

I had a similar problem like that, But you have already tried Changing the control mode in the BIOS to AHCI mode And reinstalling Windows. It was bizarre all i did was switch it back to IDE mode and format my SSD then Reinstall W7 In AHCI mode and it worked. It was pretty much as your describing it blank screen after installing The OS. (also Bios flash maybe?)
