A few of the high end boards can. I think Asus' ROG lineup can, and I think the deluxe can too. I know the P67 or Z78-UD7 can run two-way SLI or Crossfire in x16.

hmm a few that comes to mind are all the top end boards, I.E.

Asus Maximus Extreme-z

But you would only lose like 4-6% of performance using a x16 and an x8
