Here is some of my tests for you to judge.
I'm still working on it to reach stable 5Ghz overclock.

I think I have narrowed my issues to 3 things, RAM, RAM, and RAM!

So, I'm going to order some new memory and then test it out...

I think my goal now is a 4700 to 4800 MHz system that is stable for 24/7 use and hopefully voltages below 1.50!

I'll keep you all posted...Please, continue your postings as well!

Cheers,

X

XDJ1 just looked at your sig to see what your running i would tweak your system a tad bit. Run some test but you sould be in the 7's on Cinebench with that clock speed.

Thanks...

I've heard from another member that Samsung has some good and inexpensive RAM that has been very successful at OCing !

I'm going out on a limb and try it. If not, I'll sell it and go for some more popular stuff, ie G.skill or Kingston.

Try to get RAM with higher frequency as posible, FX will benefit from that because it's native support 1866Mhz
Same with me, after switching from G'skill 1600Mhz to A-Data 2000g which is standard 1600 and overckable up to 2000+Mhz
My overall overclock result went up with more stability and performance.
