yes i reset the cmos, i stil dont get what t1 or t2 is i have no way to adjust the timing because i uninstalled ntune, and this is my mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128316 i was told the nforce are bad for oc'ing in any case i thnk it is the mobo after a couple hours of testing both ram chips work in the first slot only mycomputer will not post if they are in any other slot, so i think i fried the ram slots in any case i ordered a shiney new mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131032 i really dont think it is the ram

i seriously doubt you fried a ram slot, the voltage would have killed the ram chips before you would have fried anything on the motherboard.

First of all, do you mix RAM sticks? What kind of RAM do you have?

Did you put both sticks in the same color slot if they are dual channel?

I've actually dealt with the same ram sticks that you have ....

I tried putting them in the rig in my sig...

I couldn't even get the dang bios to post. I'd just get a loud bee bee bepp.. I don't think your Ram is bad, but ddr2 can be picky and you might try a diffrent stick of ram if you can get your hands on one..

Yeah that does seem weird that they would work and then crap out on ya, I had a motherboard (sempron build) that had a bad dimm slot, The ram was still good but one slot just wouldn't work...
