whats your PSU?

you can find 5770 on here for around $80 that you'd pay for that 440

and would do you a bit better.

5770/6770 is only 1gb, plus they are more of a HTPC geared card!

Doesn't make a difference if his PSU can't handle a 6950.
OP, you need to take a look at your Power supply, find a model number or take a picture and let people tell you if it can supply the power a 6950 needs.

Don't forget that you can edit your previous post to add more info and reply to people you missed before. Disregard this if editing is not working properly right now biggrin.gif

Adding another card would help right? I realize I could replace the Gpu but I could get nothing for old one, so I figure just add another budget GPU
the GT 440 is $80 online.

What do you expect? the HD 5450 is the LOWEST level card offered.
gonna need a new Graphics card to see any kind of improvement

1gb is "enough" to run most games...
and how are they(being the same card re-branded) more a HTPC card?
"full size" Two slot cards..
Where as the marketed HTPC cards (6450 and 5450) as low profile single brackets.*well some of them have a tall HS*

I personally think the 6770 is enough to run any game for the average user*sure It won't play new stuff on Ultra high*
But Medium-high settings are usually good. Especially for someone on a budget thumb.gif

gelitan_factory what wrong with my quotes??

You don't like my suggestions?

I have a AMD 805 PIIx4 like at 2.5 with 8gb of ram and a 6770, play Wow just fine.

So if he wants a card he can do more with and its new tech, go with the 6950 if you psu can handle it!
