This, if you buy a card that draws more power than your supply will handle it can cause some real problems.

You don't like my suggestions?
I have a AMD 805 PIIx4 like at 2.5 with 8gb of ram and a 6770, play Wow just fine.
So if he wants a card he can do more with and its new tech, go with the 6950 if you psu can handle it!

Nothing wrong with the content, just the triple post! I noticed your post count was a bit high to be unaware of editing so I threw in that last part about ignoring me thumb.gif

Here's a pic of my power supply, I think I will buy the 7750 for $109 thumb.gif
Any preference over GIGABYTE or SAPPHIRE? they are both same price...

I think thats a better bet, that power supply almost certainly wouldn't handle a 6950 as it only has 16 amps on the 12 volt rail. I've never bought Gigabyte or Sapphire before but the are both well known companies. I'd just pick the company with the better return policy.

Yep, its gonna be a while before I catch up to the number you have right now redface.gif The only reason I brought it up was that I thought it was against the rules, but it turns out that it's not... It's my mistake doh.gif

Yeah get the 7750; i doubt that PSU would be able to handle much more

Get whichever one has a beefier cooler and/or a better return policy

Nope. It can support HD7750, although barely. So you can buy HD7750 right now, or grab that HD6950 plus a new power supply.

PCIe 3.0 card can work in 2.0 slot. No problem.

Yep, its backwards compatible with 2.0 and 2.1. Well, no need to feel stupid, asking questions is sometimes the best way to find out what you need to know thumb.gif Other times, a quick google will tell you all you need to know wink.gif

You can actually use those two GPUs together with a mod and use Hybrid Physx. However, the Radeon card wouldn't be able to handle Physx enabled in the first place. Buy the 6950 and upgrade your PSU if you can. Doesn't seem to have a brand on it thumb.gif
