Want to sell a used PC game, bot don't know if I can...

Basically, I have Supreme Commander 2, a video game, and want to know how to sell a used video game without ripping someone off. Do I just uninstall it? I want to make sure the activation code works for the other person...

This kind of stuff all depends on the publisher. In this case, square enix. I'm not too sure about them. A lot of old games just had to have you uninstall it. What I would do is try uninstalling it from your computer, and try installing it in a different computer or a friend's computer. If it works, just uninstall and sell away. If it says the key was already used, then unfortunately you won't be able to sell it. Just remember to reinstall it to your computer.

EDIT: I just saw that this is a steam game. If the code was used but never used on steam, go ahead and sell it but if it was, don't even bother.

It was. Guess it's not worth it. That's fine, somewhere along the line, one of my brothers will want it.
