I agree, most of it was due to the SF controller.
However even in indilinx based drives in earlier generations, OCZ was still unreliable compared to Intel X25-M80G2s.
Of course, SSDs and Indilinx have matured a lot from then, but I would still give it some time before they could be counted as one of the goodies
