reflashing a an ocz synapse cache ssd to a normal ssd? - Page 2

Yep Ive followed those steps but it is still not freeing up the cache portion of the drive. I have the 128gb and it only has 64gb(59gb) free.

bspofford above mention in this post as well as another post that he was able to remove this with DISKPART, but I have been unable and I was wondering what step I was messing.

Can anyone else suggest a tool that might turn this drive into a regular drive?

Thank you Parsec, for the reply do you know of another command that will un-hide this partition?

I'm fairly sure that the fw has the drive locked down. You might want to ask praz or me&er on the ocz support forum to find out for sure.

Hello

Without access to OCZ factory tools it will not be possible to merge the overprovisioned space with the user accessible storage space.
