Why would you be running A minecraft server on Windows Server 2012? Seems a bit over kill for that. I know server 2008 R2 and unless you have some crazy new features planned, I'm a bit stumped.

just wondering, and im asking here since i dont know where i could find the answer to the question or where else to post it, but if i were to get rei's minimap mod, and play on the server, would i get banned?

All the mods use it so no.

Edit: However as it stands of course, the server is undergoing changes, so, if something does change, you will be alerted as such. thumb.gif

You asked in the right place, we cannot control and choose not to require specific client-side modifications. We can however take actions against them, like the steps we've taking against x-ray cheaters and the new level we've taken that too devilsmiley.gif. Everything is always up for discussion but the preliminary thought is that a Minimap is an unfair advantage against those who don't have one installed.. The main concern most of us have is the overhead view, cords are in the game already, and way points are a great convenience.
