People can build in the "wildy", the area between claimed land.

Also if you don't mind me asking, what is the current thoughts by staff on silk touch mob farms? I wanna know if I should waste my diamonds getting more or focus on a massive old style mob farm to duplicate my current results

Thanks.
The mods are not saying it was a decision, personally I just said it needed restarting anyway. Whether it was a mistake, or not, which it was, isn't really important. It was broken and needed fixed while the server was still young, as it would have become completely useless later.
Silk touch will stay, but we have implemented a few changes to deal with lagg they may produce. There is now an auto kick after certain time AFK, mods will be given the //butcher command, and often will kick if people are just sitting at spawners afk generating a lot of lagg.

Which i, honestly, don't really agree with :/
1 power (10 possible) = 1 chuck of claim. Meaning he could claim 10 chucks or 160 blocks in either direction from bedrock to the sky. It is actually much larger than your current zMod. The only catch is if you want to maintain that land you have to be on, it is a survival PvP server after all. If you are off for an extended period of time your power will drop and the land you own will decrease.

Also, what happens to the items inside of the signs at our own shops? Will those be lost, or will we get them back? The question for Cpt. Teacp is also a wee bit pointed at you

.
If Faction size = how much you can control what about smaller Factions that produce a lot of stuff? Currently our Faction is five but will hopefully grow to seven over the next few days. Is there a way outside of having a larger Faction to have more land? Such as having multiple farms, mines, breeding areas, contributing to a large shop, user time online, etc to allow bigger lands? Producing stuff from takes up a whole lot of land.
And now to maybe answer me own question

.
Currently our land is being WG is this the alternative to keep on going with? If Factions can't be WG'ed I'm sure we'll just go with calling ourselves the Town of Ni or something. The reason being is we use a lot of land, and already have and though I'm not sure how much land we get per person it would stink if all together it was less than we are using now you know?
Aaand also. When is Zmod disappearing? One of our Faction members built a really cool tree house house outside of our WG area and when Zmod disappears it won't be protected. Is there anything we can do for him? Zmod might be rubbish, but it's a piece of rubbish that's currently filling in a void.
Thanks!

Love LWC by the way

. Well, except for no door timers as far as I know of. Oh well.
You will still be able to make shops wherever you want, we just wanted a centralized building for players to build shops if they wanted. This will be more useful for bigger cities and towns. They will also be an "admin shop" at spawn, and smaller bazaar style shops in towns.
You can get those signs back.
With 5 people you will be able to maintain a HUGE area of land no problem, probably, actually certainly larger than your current WG.
If you are a faction you have to guard with faction, if you are a town you can use WG. If you are a faction that fears getting it's town destroyed as a result of members never being on you can disband and a mod/admin will give you WG. Only catch is now that faction can not be remade and anyone can move into that town.
zMod will be slowly phased out, and you will probably see the last of it leave in a month or so. Although this is subject to change and we will work with the players to decide what is the best time. The thing is that once factions and WG start rolling zMod will become not used and useless.
We understand the role zMod plays, but we also understand we need to move to a better system that is easier, faster, and will have less problems. Factions mod will not overlap, while zmod will and mods/admins have had to fix a ton of zones.
