Bye Bye MacPro, hello new home built PC - Page 12

Very nice. I was actually considering one of those over a D14, but the store I buy from here doesn't sell it. Kinda sucks.

Also, with the watercooling leak thing: It depends what it lands on. I had a leak go on my sound card and apart from a tiny bit of fuzz when the water was on it, there's been no lasting damage.

Well, lucky for my sound card, it would be blocked by my $500 graphics card frown.gif Definitely happier not having to worry about it. Plus, without being able to set up push/pull in my mid-sized Corsair case, I just don't think the H100 is worth it. Ran Prime95 for two hours this afternoon and the Zalman kept things at 57C. The H100 was wandering up into the low 60s after 20 min.

Yeah, all in ones aren't as good as normal loops for sure. I went from 90c load to 60c load on my GTX 470 with a full cover block and 120x1 rad with a 1850rpm Gentle Typhoon on it. Worth every penny I spent, especially considering its near silent compared to before.

Nice. Maybe next time around I'll be brave enough to attempt full water cooling.

well i have to say i read the whole post its long =.=!

but worth it, becuase am going to have h100 in my Haf x nvidia edtion , witch i did research and watched youtube video's not going to be easy but it will fit
even here in ocn there is a post regarding fitting p/p h100 in the haf x case and the isue's will be there regarding ram space etc...

for future i use this website to decide witch fans am chosing,

http://www.quietpc.com/products/120mmfans

it might help anyone to chose fans, then after finding the right cfm with low noise enough go research, if its really low noise also good cooling.

Congratz dude your system looks cool, have nice games pwn noobs biggrin.gif

I wouldn't think you'd have too much trouble getting the H100 in a HAF-X. In my mid-sized Corsair 600T I probably needed about 20mm more space to make it work. The HAF-X is a beast compared to my case. I considered getting one but I thought it would frighten my cat smile.gif

i want to put it beside the top 200mm fan and use the h100 as exhaust and the 200mm also exhaust am not sure will fit next to it,
ye am sure under it
everywhere i looked forums youtube etc.. found they mount h100 instead of the 200mm fan not beside it so.... !!?
maybe coz it doesnt fit

and am scared it will make problem coz am using G1 killer assassin the ram 2 channel on side the other 2 channel might coz problem installing ram :S
but first water-cooling for me so don't want leaks and headache of connecting the parts etc... so h100 easy solution biggrin.gif for lazy guys like me <---

well anyway lets c ur build in future what kind of upgrade you will do, have any thoughts ?
