We have somewhat went off-topic. I think the subject has been answered. New hardware will be dis-allowed until we have firm numbers on output like zodac said. $ilent, get us your numbers when that time comes for VM Folding. Hopefully, we will find out some Native numbers soon after. When we have the data, a decision can be made. We just want things to be as fair as possible.
Onto the off-topic, but related stuff:
I am not sure I understand Desert Rat's idea about a 20k PPD cap in Cat 2. Are you saying move hardware into to the category that performs lower than 20k PPD? I can see that. I hope you were not suggesting putting hardware in that is capable of more than 20k PPD and capping it. We will just have a bunch of people folding 20k PPD in Cat 2.
Erick Silver, take a look at Black Magix on Team Explosm. He folds a 465. I believe he is netting 11k PPD. I folded on my 450 yesterday at 940 MHz and hit 10.3k PPD. I don't believe that is too far off.
I have owned several 460's though including the SE Versions. I would top out at 14k PPD on the average work unit. When I say top out, that was running a clock of 1040 MHz under water. I also unlocked the voltage cap and was running 1.150v
My 450 needs flashed to unlock the voltage cap. I can almost guarantee I can do 12k or so on it afterwards. My temps at 940MHz were only 47C on air. It is Lutro0's old Gigabyte one with the 2 fans. Very nice cooler!
