Building A new Rig, Some advice?

Alright guys I dont, I repeat I 'dont' have a budget. I am planning on building a top rig gaming computer. My old one was top of the line but now I need another since I got my girl moving in with me, and well instead of buying her one, ill give her my old one. Ok on to the point... I need to build the top of the line deal. I am an Intel fan... So I will be using the new Core 2 Duo processor. Im also an Nvidia fan. This is what im thinking...

Memory - 2GB Dual DDR2 Corsair

Video Card - BFG Tech Geforce 7950GT BFGR7950512GTOCE Video Card - Retail

CPU - Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 2.93GHz LGA 775 - Retail

Motherboard - ?? I have no idea...help me out?

Harddrives - 2 x 150GB Raptors 10000rpm (Theres no discussion)

DvD Burner / Optical drive - Ideas?

Power Supply - 500v Think itll be enough right?

Case - I need something good looking yet efficient. Something eye stunning, This was my last case http://www.pcdesign.ru/images/photo/case/samurai/1.jpg

Cooling - Give me some leads guys?

Mouse - Razor Copperhead Red or Green..

Keyboard - Need a gamers board... But dont know.. lay some on me?

Im looking for as much suggestions and possibilites possible, throw them at me guys please and thanks. Also list some of the reasons your choices are good and if theres any cons. Thanks again!

What about a 7950GX2 for the graphics card instead of the 7950GT, or add a second 7950GT. The PSU should be one of the most looked-at choices in building a new rig. 500 Watts from a crap PSU will not power that rig at all.

Get SLI 8800GTXs. Get rid of that X6800 and put in an E6700. Get the 1Kw PC P&C.

Btw, although the 8800GTXs are a good idea IMO, if you don't have a decent monitor (ie. 1600x1200) to go with it its useless.

For the motherboard, go for a Pw5 DH and mod drivers. Or wait until the Intel 6xx chipset is released wiht the G80.

Whats phase change? And ill get the 2x 7950gx2's ... whats 1KW PC P&C?

And I cant find that case anywhere =\\ Sorry for sounding dumb I never really checked much into these things your talking about before.

Why not the x6800 and a downgrade to E6700

It's very close to the same CPU for $500 less.

If there is no limit, get a 7950gx2 or wait till novomber and get a g80 dx10 card so you wont have to upgrade you video card for another 5-6 months

For cooling get a phase change kit since there is no limit in budget (You can get that x6800 to >=4.4ghz

For mobo Abit AW9D-MAX But this mobo has only one PCI slot, that's the only bad part...

For PSU, 500W won't be enough for your system. Get a 750W or a 1000w PSU.

Good luck...

Well I guess near the same but 500 less sounds like a good idea. Ok phase change means a cooling kit.. got it. Easy enough.. any Ideas on a good moniter... I heard LCD is better for your eyes but CRT are better for quick no lag graphics... Also. Mabey I should wait for the DX10 cards? I got time im in no rush I guess.... End of this month im moving to england anyways. Hmm... So I think its better if I wait on a better mobo to release since ill need more then 1 PCI slot.

Whats this quad core your talking about?
