Overclocking i5 2500k on ASUS P8P67 Pro.

Hi guys.
I have looked through posts here but couldnt find what I was looking for.
I am sure that alot of guys have tghis setup and are runnung it @ 4.2Ghz.

I want to have my i5-2500k @ 4.2Ghz and my memory @ 1600Mhz.
What I am looking for is a good guide to set the bios, everything that has to be changed from default.

This is my hardware setup:
Motherboard: ASUS P8P67 Pro
CPU: Intel i5-2500K
CPU Cooler: Thermalright MUX-120
GPU: MSI GTX 570 TF III/OC
PSU: Seasonic X-850
Memory: Mushkin Blackline 1600Mhz 1.35V
WD Black 1TB

If you read this thoroughly then it explains pretty much everything you need to know.

Yes he is using a gigabyte board but most of the settings are the same and if they are different he usually states what the alternatives are. Each point is explained in such a way that the information can be used universally across all boards.

You want find a guide giving you specific settings for specific overclocks because it doesn't work like that. Each chip and board is different and can vary dramaticaly in what they can achieve and at what voltages.
