Hey guys!

Finishing up a build, decided a nice new shiny monitor would be the icing on the cake..

Cant decide what to go with, I have asked around a bit and everyone gives you a different answer.

Looking in the 23-27 market, looking for gaming performance but also quality picture (would like to keep it at 2ms response)

Not looking to spend an arm (probably going to have to give up the leg) .. I see all kinds of new fancy words out there.. IPS LED LCD BMW.. I get the basic tech behind everything but for computer monitor purposes.. not sure which way to go..

Sites I like: Microcenter (first and foremost) and then the Egg, Buy.com, Amazon, really anywhere with a decent rep.

Brands.. not very picky but I am a review-whore.. so something with a quality rep and decent customer service.. probably wont stray too far from the big companies (Samsung, Asus, Acer, LG, HP, that line of thinking)

I'm an outside the box kind of guy, so I decided to implement a ground-breaking strategy for the purchase, looking for the most quality for the lowest price. :sleep: (if those Z's were brain matter.. it would be your head exploding)

Would love some suggestions and links, and really I'd also like some knowledge.. what stats are most important, what to look for and how to compare different models, that sort of thing.

THANNNNKS!

Travis

That was a post off another site I was browsing.. just to give background but not bore everyone..

I will do some research in the stickies, wondering out of you guys a few things though..

First.. how important REALLY is my refresh rate and what not.. should I look quality (for gaming purposes mostly) over a flashy stat?

Second.. anyone catch any great Easter or Spring deals?

let me know!
