combine 2 folders that are on 2 drives

Thread Starter
I have 2 music folders, one is a completely full hard drive, and the other doesn't have the space to copy over. I'm looking for a way to combine both folders logically so I dont have to open both drives to search for something. Anyone know a windows trick to accomplish this?
-Thanks in advance

Well, one trick is a Music Library that links all you music folders, and it's already a feature in Windows. Or, you can trim down your music collection, move it to an off-site service or add more storage media to your setup. Also, look around for free utilities that will merge folders to a single folder, based on criteria and file type, etc. etc.

I played around with libraries. not exactly what im after. What i basically want to do is create a directory that combines 2 or more folders so when i open this new directory it has files and folders contained from multi sources.

This sounds like exactly the purpose of Libraries in Windows 7.

I don't know how else you would do it, unless there's an application for it or something.
