Will my motherboard work with Ivy Bridge? - Page 2

wat kind of issues? and also 5 ghz is like a now way lol. 10% faster wudnt be much tho from ivy bridge and sandy bridge. The only difference i noticed from my pentium D at 2.5 ghz and my i5 2500k at 3.3ghz is like slightly better games and stuff like that. Very minor. and also again it depends on what ur issue is? thumb.gif

Thanks guys. I don't have an "issue" at all really. I like the processor and it runs a lot of my games. I am just wondering if by upgrading my graphics card from an AMD 5870 to a nvidia 680, if it is recommended I upgrade the CPU as well? The consensus I get from reading these replies seems to be no(?). In other words will my 950cpu bottleneck my 680?
