Surround or Eyefinity

Thread Starter
I have two of these monitors so far.
I have a GTX 560TI 1GB.
I have a 750W PSU.
I want to retain max settings on most games at Surround-Eyefinity resolution of 5760*1080.

I need a third monitor, and a new graphics card or combo.

Any good Crossfire -SLI Combos or Good Single Card solutions?

Price range is about $500.

All help is appreciated.

I'm currently running 3 24" monitors myself on the MSI 6950 twin Frozr iii in crossfire (unlocked shaders on both thumb.gif ).
Not had any problems maxing out most games (YET!!) biggrin.gif
hopefully good...

The unlocked shaders basically turn it into a 6970 right?

Pretty much yes, but correct me if i'm wrong, but it's still not a true 6970 though.

Interesting. But at that point I would be spending ~$500 on two Graphics cards when I could just get a 7950.
Any reason not to?

I have some 3gb EVGA 580's and they keep everything maxed out nicely. Even in surround 3D maxed out! Crysis 2 with the texture pack/DX11 will drop the fps considerably, but other than that I haven't ran across anything that really works out my system too bad. If you have a question, just send me a PM. Happy gaming!

And you'll love surround / eyefinity...its on a whole new level
