will it fit h100 in 650d if a catch

ok so im deciding on making a new build soon and just wondering would a corsair h100 (push/pull config) fit in a 650D with a p9x79 pro mobo? the heatsink up top of the mobo seems to be pretty high that is all

Dude a 650D will fit any 120mm x2 any day.

It won't fit push and pull with that board, the 650D would require roughly 3" of clearance, and has closer to 2.5" above the board. You'd have to make a tweak or mod.

thanks george might just mount 2 fans outside of the case if thats the case, dont want to go cutting n chopping something so nice

i have the same problem as you do. It comes down to 2 options.

1. you can do pull only configuration with the fans on the bottom of the h100 to pull air up into it

2. you can buy low profile fans that are 12mm thick ( 1/2 the thickness of regular fans which are around 25mm ) and put them on the exhaust side and have normal fans on the bottom making the overall thickness around 2.5 inches.


Go with these fans if your gonna try option 2 :
