Happy owner, right here! Picked mine up (black body) on Monday evening and I'm just loving this thing. The screen is gorgeous! The response is always fluid and smooth. Never laggy. Nothing that I've noticed yet anyway. Maybe if I load it up but I'm kind of a minimalist so I doubt I will. Going from a BB non-touch 9700 I am really enjoying the touch interface and I was really expecting not to at all. Texting has been very easy when I thought it would be a challenge. This is my first touchscreen phone, btw. I've played with some before and it was always a PITA but not here for whatever reason. Can't explain why. Being a previous Zune mp3 player user may give me a leg up in understanding the interface and all that...the overall experience helps I think.
WRT battery life.... Well...it most certainly isn't like my BB. Looks like I can get one solid day with this as long as I'm not over working it. Usually, I would only use my phone for a handful of emails and texts in an average day. Since I've had this, I've been working it overtime. Screen is on a lot. Constantly flipping around doing things. Texting friends and stuff. Surfing the marketplace. Tried some games. Just contantly using it with everything turned on except for bluetooth. Using it like this barely lasted a full day but really, I kind of expected that. It's also unrealistic because I don't usually use my phone that way. I expect decent battery life with typical use. I will update about this in the coming week or so. Right now, I'm still into it and like playing around with it.
Asked my friend who works at AT&T about this. Said he hasn't heard anything yet about it. If anyone knows how to get the rebate, I'd like to know.

I think it's because its a well designed, well executed Windows phone. I wouldn't expect a diehard Android fan to be impressed with the 900 but I don't think Nokia would either. I'm not into Apple or Android, bored with BB and this caught my eye. I'm not sure I'd be as happy with either competing OS phones.

B/c how scratch resistant the phone is, you almost never get any scratches on the front or back of the phone. Except, because the camera silver strip sticks out, it will get scratched if you put it down bottom side down. I find it to prevent scratches you have to put the phone down on its gorilla glass.
Definitely. The build quality was a big selling point for me. It feels solid and well built.Edited by Infrasonic - 4/11/12 at 10:26am
