Dual USB Charging

if you use something like this to charge your phone

Will it charge the phone faster?? or will it fry it??

you could try it but it looks like from the specs that one usb is wired just for power and the other just data

This is most often used for enclosed hard drives, where it requires USB bus power.
On some older laptops/computers with only USB1.1, two USBs will be required, one requiring additional power (the extended USB), and the main one provides power and/or data.

i just pick that one as an example.
Some of the dual usb cable has power for from both usb.

hmmmm the only true way of telling is to hook it up to a volt meter and see if there is an increase in amps, volts and watts provided; again like i said before not to sure but if they both provide power then theoretically yes it should charge faster (but also note if you put more power into a battery that the standard amount it could damage it)
