How to move RAID array to new motherboard?

Thread Starter
Recently i switched over to Intel from AMD and i ran into a problem.
My RAID 0 array that i had on the AMD system isn't being recognized on the new intel system.

I have a ton of data on the RAID array that i cannot lose, and i need some help with how to get it working again on then new system. When i boot into windows with the HDDs that were previously in RAID 0 plugged in, it tells me i need to format the disks before i can use them and shows them as 2 separate disks. I have the SATA configuration set to RAID in the BIOS, and even so the motherboard doesn't recognize that they should be in an array during POST and tells me to use the configuration utility to set up an array (can't do this since it would erase my data)

The system the array was previously on is the build in my signature.

The new system is:

Intel Core i7 Sandy Bridge 2600
ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3
16GB of RAM

the 2 drives are 750GB WD Caviar Blacks

I thought it would be fine just moving it over since the array data is stored on each of the hard drives, but i guess i was wrong...
this may be somewhat vague since i wasn't exactly sure how to describe it, so please let me know if you need anymore information.
Thanks in advance

You need to put the drives back on the old system, move the data to single disks and then put the drives in the new system. The RAID array can not be transferred from different RAID controllers

Often if you stick with the same company you can move RAID arrays from system to system.

But AMD to Intel? Nope, no compatibility there.
