Best gaming mouse? - Page 2

Those are interesting descriptions of what style mouse user ppl are... I think im a mix between palm and claw... I use a razor mamba and i think it fits into my palm and my first pointer and middle finger rest one on each of the left an right mouse buttons with my 3rd and pinky fingers straddling/griping the right side of the mouse and thumb grips the left side of mouse...with my butt end of my thumbs/wrist resting on mouse pad.

On another note, the razor mamba is very comfortable mouse for me, but sometimes it "shorts out/freeezes" and i have to flip the on/off button underneath it to get control back.... I think im going to buy a rat 7 mouse someday they look nice

Actually, looking at the specs of their website, it looks like they are the same, except for the blue LED color from the regular one the Black Edition does not have LEDs.

If it makes any difference my recommendation for the DeathAdder or Naga Epic comes from be being a palm style mouse users. Not sure how good they would be if you held them a different way. I tried holding mine different, but I can’t imagine holding any mouse in a non-palm grip being comfortable.
The only difference I can see between the normal and Black Edition of the DeathAdder is the lack of glowing parts and possibly some texture on the Black Edition. The pictures of the Black Edition seem to make it look like it is textured, not sure about this though. I have never actually held a Black Edition DeathAdder before.

My next question is, what is the difference between the DeathAdder and the DeathAdder Black Edition? Is it worth the extra $10?

If you move the mouse more with your fingers, then it is finger tip grip. You could also be somewhere in between. Do you like that grip?

Deathadder is primarily a palm grip mouse.

DA:
- glossy plastic on sides
- rubber on top
- lights on scroll wheel and base of mouse

DA:BE:
- rubber on sides
- rubber surface on top
- no lights on black scroll wheel and base of mouse

Some people like the glossy plastic sides of DA more because it feels more sticky when you sweat. Better for picking up mouse. Rubber of DA:BE can be more slippery when sweating. It is preference.

I move my mouse mostly with the wrist. Not the fingertips.
If any of you were to get one of these mouses, which one? or any other recommendation aside from these and the G9x?

I have a Deathadder and it is a great mouse. It's nice and light and very has very slippery feet so it slides easily, great for using your wrist to move the mouse (i do that too)

It also has some great speed settings, and has the 2 buttons on the side which are great for FPS games like cod.

Hey man, how's the G9x mouse that you have? I made a thread about the G9x vs Deathadder Black edition and I still have a dilemma between both of them. I'm using a Microsoft Mobile 4000 (wireless) and claw/finger tip grip it. The mouse pad that I'm using is the Steelseries QcK cloth surface. I'm still not sure which mouse to get because I heard that the G9x has a noticeable acceleration on cloth mousepad which means I'll probably have to buy a new pad, so it will be 90$ in total. And for the Deathadder, I can get it for 55$ but people say that it's for palm gripping which I don't.
Here's the link to my fhread if you want to see my situation in details. http://www.overclock.net/t/1239820/logitech-g9x-vs-razer-deathadder-black-edition

EDIT: I mainly play Starcraft 2, so it requires a lot precision sp one miss click can make me lose the entire game

Im using a corsair m60 and love it, the thing is built like a tank and glides SMOOTHLY over my mouse pad. I bought a g9x at the same time since I was split between the two and the g9x felt cheap in comparison.

Gonna hit the sack and go to bed so cant elaborate more but give it a look.
