BSOD Error 1033 - Page 2

Thread Starter
Sorry for the late late update E-Peen, been caught up with heavy workload for the past few weeks that I had little time to spare on my rig.

But anyways, I've ran all the hardware diagnostics you've suggested: memtest86, chkdsk, furmark, prime95, updated latest OCZ Vertex 3 firmware to 2.22, all of them ran flawlessly with no negative results.

The BSODs still continue though..with the last ones as recent as today..here are the latest dump files.

051112-11247-01.zip 28k .zip file

051112-11263-01.zip 24k .zip file

I'm getting helpless about this. I've applied for RMA for my mobo since it's the one thing we couldn't really test, maybe some pins were misaligned or defective. And I'll be performing a fresh install once my new Vertex 4 arrives as replacement for the current one. Hopefully, these will fix the issue.

Nonetheless, I would still like to hear from you, any additional insights will be greatly appreciated smile.gif

Well, so far, all of the dumps have been F4 bugchecks, same with the latest (point to usual Microsoft files). Usually, the causes of F4 bugchecks are that there's a hardware problem with the boot drive, or a device driver has a bug or a critical service was stopped. I notice you have an SSD, are you updated to the latest firmware?

If you have access to testing another HDD or SSD, I'd do so just to be sure. Also, try a different port on the SATA controller, etc. Just tinker with it to be sure it's not just the drive.

Yup, the Vertex 3 MI ssd has already been flashed to the latest firmware version 2.22, I'll just hang on a bit and wait for my Vertex 4 to arrive before performing a clean installation of Windows 7. Will report back again on any further updates, thank you for your patience E-Peen! smile.gif
