Hey guys, check out this vid...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3qAvH3yJ_A8

Tom also says in another vid that the AP-15's are the only fans close noise/performance wise...

Hope that helped smile.gif

Just going to quote this for emphasis. If you're looking for the best performance possible, you want one of the various high-speed 38mm fans. You've got several options, depending on if noise is important at all or if it can sound like a jet engine: These or these or these or these or these or, well, you get the idea. Any of these will perform noticeably better than AP-15s or the stock H100 fans, at the cost of volume. They all generally have enough static pressure to make push/pull not really required, so they don't take up any more room than 2 thinner fans, while (in most cases) moving noticeably more air.

Certainly not better performance than the stock H100 fans, just less noise...

I'm gonna go with what all the other say and recommend Yate Loons..
Noise not an issue? Panaflo 38s,Vantec,or Delta 38s
tbh..I'll just deal with my little sound of water falling and get 10c or better temps biggrin.gif

i don't know too much about this, but i think stock fans of H100/80 are designed specially for it, i see many people switching them, i wanted too, but i was reading specs of stock fans and i realized they are pretty good, more like my ones on thermaltake case, so why would you spend more money, just use the stock one, i dont think new fans would increase perfomance at all but there are risk of reduce perfomance, sorry for my english.

The AP-15s have no lights, just amazing performance for low noise.

And if they aren't in a push/pull, will I still have solid enough performance to cool my oc'd cpu?

It would depend on you case, depending on what type of grill the fans are up against, will change the noise they make. You could try both configurations to see what works best in your case for noise and performance. Or you could make a sig rig, and add pics/specs of what type of computer you have... whistle.gif

No sig rig, since my parts weren't really listed that well, and I didn't feel like finding pics. I have a corsair 550D (to reduce noise, it's similar to a fractal design define R3. I'm mounting the radiator on the top panel, which has fairly wide grill holes, but it's pulling through a pretty fine dust filter as well. I'm not too worried about noise, just want to make sure I'll have the cooling performance I need with the AP-15's - I have a noctua nh-c14 right now, but it's a little heavy, and I need to travel a bit with my case and it's actually bending my mobo a little bit and hitting some parts, which is *really* not what I want, and bad for my pc. I just want to make sure I have at least similar cooling performance, at a similar noise level.

Check this out, it may help:
this is the fans circulation inside my HAF X:

Is it right for the best temp ?!

By the way i'm using the stock fans for H100, and the above is 20mm Coolermaster << I think it's not good !
