Best fan for H100 ? - Page 5

Will AP-15's be better off in a push or a pull configuration?]

While perhaps performing a little worse than the stock fans, will they still offer enough cooling performance to keep my 4.5ghz overclocked 2500k cool under load? I have a NH-C14 right now, and I'm looking to change, but I want to make sure I have similar cooling performance.

So i intend to get a full watercooling system in the next month, but for now i need a good fans to keep the temp down.

Agreed with the post above me. The Corsair fans have great performance, and adding Push/Pull won't give you a large drop in temps (maybe 2c). The best thing you can do is to make sure that your fans are pushing fresh are(from out side your case) through the H100. This will be 5-7c better than if your pushing air out of your case though the H100.

where the hell do you live man ?!?!? eek.gif

anyway, like a lot of ppl said, the stock fans beat the GTs at max speed..

BUT YOURE LOOKING TO IMPROEVE TEMPS AND DONT CARE ABOUT NOISE?!?!

the only way for you to get "better" its to step up into 38mm thickness fans, you can get A LOT more pressure/cfm(a lot of options: delta, san ace, panaflo, etc) to improve the temps..

Good luck thumb.gif

I am running Push only with AP-15s on my 3930k @ 4.5ghz (which puts out more heat than the 2500k), and my load temps are around 70-74c across the cores.
