How much more longer can I get bye with this chip?

Do you all think I could add a 2nd 7970 without a bottleneck?

if you can bump the clock to 4.2 or 4.3 the second card wont bottle neck for sure... if not you may experience a little bottle neck but i think you would still use 85 or 90% of the cards potential

Sure there will be a bottleneck with two 7970s and a I7 960, but your cpu is still more than capable to help pump out those high frames.

No need to change out your cpu and mobo just yet.

I also have an I7 960 in another rig and I thinks it's still an awesome cpu.
