ASRock 990FX Extreme3 or ASRock 970 Extreme4?

Ok, which board is better? I can get the 970 for 90€ and the 990FX for 108€ so I was wondering is the 990FX worth the extra 18€ or should I just go for the 970?

Not much of an overclocker at the moment, but it might be nice to have that option open in the future.

So yeah, knock those opinions to me.

So, what I'm hearing is I should take the 990FX? smile.gif

This has been suggested to me in a nother forum as well so it seems like the more reasonable choice seeing that it's only 18€ more expensive

then you want 8+2 phase and if you want any chance of future cpu upgrade past bd & p2 your best bet is 990fx, 990fx extreme 4. solid board worth the extra money, never skimp on the mobo.
