After a quick google people in the UK use Chevy Nova heater cores(matrix) which they assert can be purchased from local parts stores cheaply. I dunno if you live close enough to have them in your local parts stores, but at least you could probably order them online from a parts store located in the UK and have minimal shipping costs.

Just make sure it is a copper / brass core not an Alu one. You will run into problems running copper and alu in the same loop unless you run an anti corrosive coolant (which have their own issues).
