Sorry for double posting but!

What kind of test should i run during PRIME 95?

Right now i'm running PRIME 95!

I'm kinda new with PRIME 95 i always use LinX and Intel Burn Test D: but i heard PRIME 95 was accurate. D:

Options ~ Torture Test ~ In-place Large FFTs (max heat, power consumption some RAM tested) is this TEST going to be accurate for telling me if my OCing is stable?

Is that great? i mean my IDLE voltage reaches 0.80v ~ 1.00+v on IDLE

I just realize i got almost the same temps from 3.4 ~ 3.8ghz and i oced it to 4.4ghz.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Maybe you guys should try the CONFIGURATION i posted maybe NEGATIVE(-)0.060 is compatible with everyone.
that's a good voltage for that OC if you ask me. smile.gif if you have the time, try to break the 5ghz clock, provided that you have a good cooler.
run prime95 in blend mode for like 6-8 hrs.. that's the initial stability check for your OC.. well, i mean, initial, for me. smile.gif happy OCing!
I got Xion-HP1216b cooler btw i'm from the Philippines which the weather is freaking hot. D:
and you OC'ed yours for 1.25v @4.7ghz D: Platinum Chip? XD isn't that voltage for 4.7 too low? XD
I just stopped my P95 and 1hour and 40+ TEST and 0errors 0 warnings at In Place Large FTT Option
Since blend test is more accurate? *switching to blend test.
+Oh yeah can someone tell me how CPU's get damaged?
CPU gets damaged when hot right??? sooo when you got low voltage low heat and thats good?
So LOWER Voltage LOWER Temps?
But what if i got 5.0Ghz at 1.30v only? isn't super low voltage for 5.0Ghz bad?
Cpu degradation. If you get it too hot, or run too many volts through it for an extended amount of time. The idea is that overclocking shortens the life of your cpu but in 7-10 years when it dies it won't matter because you will want something new.
Oh yeah and blend is good because it stresses the imc.
oh men, pinoy! biggrin.gif
cpus gets damaged from the temperature and from the voltage as well.. cpus has their safe voltage limit, so if you exceed on that, cpu may experience degradation over time..
so the basic rule is, the lower volt, the better, as long as it is rock stable
