Silverstone makes a couple cases that would make great HTPC, Amazing portable/LAN rig, or silent and classy liquid cooled general use / gaming machine.
At the end of the day though, no case can stand up to a completely custom built work of art like those of our beloved late Syrillian or the "l3pd3sk" which I'm personally quite enamored with.
At any rate my point is that there are instances where all kinds of cases are better choices than others. There's no such thing as a universally right answers. There are however universally WRONG answers, like Antec (unless you're getting one purely because you actually like how they look *shudders*) wink.gif

Antec is not a universally wrong answer. The Antec 900 was a great case and its variations, 300 and 600 are solid cases as well. While you may not like them, there are still plenty of people who like that design. Don't try to pass on your bias as facts please.

You're kidding right? First you say that Antec is cheap, now you say the 900 is a great case?

It's a 6 year old overgrown matx case with cable management that makes a $25 Apevia case look tidy, and it's still selling for over $100 in most places. I'm sorry but you really don't have much credibility left after saying that. Have you been living under a rock the past 5 years or something? Even Raidmax is making classier looking cases, and they're cheaper and better featured to boot.

Don't confuse cheap with bad. Cheap simply means inexpensive. If I said antec cases were cheap quality that would be a different story. The 900 is big, roomy, and has TriCool fans. It was a huge deal for gamers 5 years ago. Similar models that come after it are because there is a fan base for that design. As far as your argument about cable management... Please. Didn't you say you love modding? Bust out your dremel and make holes if you want to. If it is possible make cable management in acrylic cases look great, one can easily make cable management great even without cutting the case.

Hilarious how you try to attack my credibility while you pass on your PERSONAL opinions as an absolute truth. rolleyes.gif

Only way i would have to buy another caselanbs case is if i need 420/480 rads. But seeing as the M10 can hold 6 360 rads I'll never need another case for water cooling. Only thing i'd have to buy is more accessories to hold more HDD/SDD or the accessories to install 2 more 360 rads to add onto the 4 default 360 rad locations. I'll never have this case FULLY full lol.
