I would keep it just in case. its only $17. You can always reuse it in your next build.thumb.gif

I'm surprised no one else mentioned it but um...

What are you going to be doing about sound?

If you have half decent speakers/headphones and/or use your computer for more than games dropping $50-70 into a soundcard doesn't seem like that poor of a choice.

I planed on putting my PC on my dresser and having it connect to my monitor at my desk for when Im just surfing the web and doing work, and then having it connect to my tv via hdmi and just using my tv's built in speakers. Is this a bad idea?

Lol I agree, your build is shaping up up to be really sturdy however a decent mid-range sound card will do wonders even with cheapo headphones from wal-mart. biggrin.gif
Personal experience with my stereo chimaeras has proved that even a mid-range Sound card can really improve the quality of audio output, I don't know how I went without a decent sound card before I got this motherboard. Even with my Via-Audio/Creative onboard hybrid mix the audio difference from stock is outstanding. thumb.gif

You can get a cheap sound system and it will sound a lot better. I would say the Logitech S-220 17 Watts 2.1 - $18 I have them and they work great thumb.gif. you won't really need a sound card unless you want to spend about $80 for better sound.
