Hi, everyone.I have Asus Sabertooth 990FX MB, 2 x 4 GB AMD RAM on 1600 MHz, graphics card AMD HD 6870 1GB DDR5 256 bit, processor AMD FX-6200...Is it possible to overclock AMD FX-6200 with 3.8 GHz to 4.2 GHz (stable) with Noctua NH-D14 cooler?

I would definitely say yes. They have some of the best air coolers on the market (as they should considering the price!), so it should be very easy to OC to a stable 4.2GHz. I have a 6100 myself and I have it running stable at 4.5GHz with an EVGA cooler and I don't see over 55c under a full stress test load.

as the FX 6200 is factory set for 3.8 and 4.1 by the factory going to 4.2 will be no problem it wont even break a sweat my PH II x6 1090T is set at 3.2 by the factory and Ive push it to 4.3 with that board

Thanks bro smile.gif.I planing to OC my 6200, and much that interested me is it possible with Noctua NH-D14...And another question ... if it's worth the money given to noctua nh-d14, or even add a bit for water-cooling?
