Parallel or not?

I have 2 GTX 580 Classy Hydro Copper's in SLI, and I was going to get Bitspower Crystal Link sets. I was wondering If I'm better off going for a link on one outlet between the cards, or both outlets, like the following?

They didnt use crystal links, but is this type setup better than a link between one port only?

Awesome, thanks +REP.

I think ill have higher than .7 GPM, so I'll probably go parallel than. Dont know how I'd check flow though...

Well there are flow meters around, you can check them out. If I were you I'd just try both ways and check my temps. GL

EDIT: Here's one for reference: http://www.koolance.com/water-cooling/product_info.php?product_id=740
