However remember I brought the copy of windows online so I go online into the microsoft store, signed into my account and well there's no order history of my purchase two years ago. So I was like well I should be able to retrieve it some how since I currently still have Windows 7 pro installed on my PC. I called tech support and the other customer store support number both numbers just drop my calls. Next I then contacted support online and ask the lady could she retrieve my purchase with my product id code or something. Nope, she goes well I see your Microsoft Office purchase... I was so angry by then lol some troll lady. They have a purchase history for some stupid Microsoft Office trial I download a year ago for free but they can not retrieve my windows 7 pro I paid 200 USD for. after that She goes "well I cannot do anything for you since theres no history of purchase". So in short Microsoft just gave me the finger. All I can say is people dont purchase windows online. Sorry I am bit mad right now... If anybody know where I can get a hold of a clean windows 7 pro copy please let me know. I have my product key since I found a keyfinder app, so I am not asking to illegally obtain windows 7 Pro.

Do you still have the order number? Think long and hard on what e-mail address you used for purchasing Windows. Those two key pieces of information would be a real help.

I am sure you have never brought windows 7 online and have no clue what your talking about. by the way I can pull the transaction and shows microsoft store taking my money!!!!

That's the Windows Anytime Upgrade. It's only desgined to upgrade a Windows 7 installation to Windows 7 Professional.

I think you are right mate I used the windows 7 anytime upgrade. I dont see why microsoft wouldnt gave me the option to burn a copy of the windows install upgrade or send me a physical copy of windows. They also didnt even give me the product key for that upgrade. I had to use a application I downloaded to find the product key with in windows 7. I guess from here on I will try installing windows 7 oem with my physical disc and then try upgrading from the the windows 7 Pro cd I burned. hopefully it will allow me to use the product key for the windows 7 pro I got from the windows anytime upgrade.

Windows Anytime Upgrade (WAU) functions differently from retail disks. IN fact when you buy it from the store, you never ever get a disk for it.

If you use a retail installation disk that matches WAU key you (which as you've mentioned is for Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional), it will never activate and even give you the F061 error code. Because that WAU you have, strictly speaking, will only work if you still have Windows 7 Home Premium activated and installed and then you upgrade it using the key that you have, which allows you to upgrade a lower edition of Windows 7 to Windows 7 Professional.

Bottom line WAU is not for a clean installation.
