Fuzzy text after installing GTX 680 - Page 3

Thread Starter
Well guys,

I am starting to think the problem is my display. I uninstalled the GTX and reinstalled one of my 4890's just to see if I wasn't seeing things. Unfortunately same crap, I now even notice that some of the lines seem to be "moving" around letters of text like some form of weird interlacing issue around the letters. So, I am going to reinstall my GTX and see what happens again though I doubt much is gonna change.

Will probably have to pull out the dual monitor setup like I use to have. In any event, thanks to all of those who gave me suggestions...all was appreciated!!

Install your ati/amd card again, open the catalyst control center, on the left pane click MY DIGITAL FLAT PANEL, then PIXEL FORMAT, there sould be 4 options you can chose, play with it, see if it fixes your problem

hi guys, hope you guys are doing good, i just bought the last gaming machine from hp that run with the NVIDIA 680 gtx, i m having that same issue of color bleeding with a projector optoma hd 23b that goes up to 1080 p .

i just bought it and installed it like 15 min ago and i think i have the same issue than my friend, for the same price, the computer was coming with either the 7970 radeon or the 680 gtx, . i m receiving the 3d screen tomorrow, i just wanted to check it on my projector it works fine on 1080 i but when i tried the 1080 p it doesnt work properly, the image is kind of fuzzy, color bleeding, and you can see soime white pixels around a few colors on the desktop, dont know whats the exact word for this ? fuzzy color bleeding anyway, i just posted here cause i think ghostrider pointed out the issue, can you use the gtx 680 with a projector through hdmi ? should i go back to the store and buy the one with the ati instead ?

sorry for the intruisive post but i think we experience exactly the same problem, you have a tv i have a projector, the weird thing is the difference with 1080 p and 1080 i

i tried installing driver not working

i tried changing pixel format not working

The first thing I would try is a different input port on the TV. I've got one myself that likes to mess with the picture in a bad way on the DVI input but runs perfectly fine via HDMI for whatever reason.

You might also try adjusting the sharpness up or down on the TV, and you might go into the NVIDIA Control Panel and change scaling from Full-screen to No scaling to see if that helps at all.

By the way, did anything else at all change when this problem started? I've seen issues like this arise even from things like an outlet with dirty power where a filter solved the problem. Not common but possible.

Can you post a pic of the problem? Also have you tried changing the settings for RGB color modes?
