Hey guys, decided to go ahead and start a work log on my phantom. This is going to be my first ever time modding a case so it may be a little slow going.

Current Specs:
Asus P8Z68-V LX
I5 2500k OC'd to 4.2ghz (Validation Link HERE, also shows my gpu oc'd)
Kingston 8gb DDR3 1600
BFG GTX 260 (Feel free to donate a new video card to the build thumb.gif lol)
PC Power and Cooling 760w PSU (would absolutely love if it was modular, but I got it at an amazing price and I love it other wise!)
CM Hyper 212+
Lite-On DVD Drive
and of course NZXT Phantom Black/Orange

List of things to do:

Paint locking mechanisms for 5.25 bay orange: 75% finished
Paint HDD trays orange
Mesh Cover for HDD Bay to hide some excess cabling
Paint all thumb screws orange
Install Windowed Side Panel
Install Orange LED String by NZXT
Figure up some way to make a cover for the psu and the also hide some more of the extra cabling.
Will update the list as more things come to me.

Ive started working on getting the locking mechanisms ready for paint. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Thank you, taking a ton of inspiration from what I've seen you do with your own build.

I work third shift so I get most of my work done while the world is sleeping. Honestly makes a world of difference. Im able to do my own thing and not bother anyone. Here is a quick shot of my nightly process.

Alright sound, I let them dry for the past six hours. About to sand down some of the imperfections do one last coat of orange and then clear coat them.

Thanks Xnine! And that would be spotify. The best musical invention ever lol.
