Gaming Mouse Suggestion

Thread Starter
Hello fellow OCNers, I will be soon swapping/replacing my near perfect DeathAdder 3500 (I have been RMAing it every 6 - 8 months due to its terrible double clicking/scroll-wheel issues and overall durability) with a Corsair M60 mice (after much research I have my eyes set on it, but I am willing to consider other choices, like Logitech G9X or a SteelSeries Mice)

A few things about me:

1. What's your grip style?
Claw Grip

2. What's your sensitivity?
5/10 Windows
Polling Rate: 125hz
DPI: 450

3. What's your maximum budget?
Around $80

4. Do you want additional buttons?
At least 5 buttons preferably

5. What games do you play?
First-person shooters/Third-person shooters

6. Do you mind about prediction?
Yes and No (as long as is not aim breaking or terrible)

Please, recommend me a durable mice (I am looking for the mechanical keyboard equivalent of a mice) that will at least outlive my DeathAdder's quality.

PS: I am not bashing my deathadder by any means, the tracking is perfect but somehow I manage to brake it too often (not sure if crappy components or a rough user)

I personally use the Razer Imperator (BF3 Edition specifically) and I love it far more than my Diamondback 3G. This Imperator is fantastic, but that's just my experience thumb.gif

Im getting the hard to find SS Xai 4/17/2012. I can let you know how I feel about it due to the fact that I have owned the following mice

DA
Logitech: G5x2, G500x2, G518, G700, G400, G9
Cyborg Rat 7
Cooler Master Storm Spawn (current mouse )
I know I have owned some of the earlier razer products just cant remember their names at this time.

From what you said the spawn might be perfect. My problem with it right now is the cord it has not lost the folded shape which it drags badly on the edge of my desk. Also there is something weird about the tracking for me right now. I think it may be that it doesnt like the green spots in my Golithus mouse pad. The Xai my friend has felt a lot smoother this weekend when I played around with it for a couple CSS rounds.

G400 matches your needs with one exception: it defaults to 1000 hertz and the driver is unusable for it (causes jitter, known issue), tracking 4 to 5m/s @ 400 and 800dpi.

Great sensor, better than DA3.5 due to much lower LOD. Liftoff is about 2 cd's.

PID greater than 13333 has no prediction. The only visual indication is the sealing label has LOGITECH printed on it for the no prediction version, the prediction one just has a clear label.

Omron responsive switches.. check out the review http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kX8vlwQ8A-c&context=C499436bADvjVQa1PpcFN_poZzEGR3hiocYEBlkLfxit1D16C3yfA=

Currently, I'm lovin' my Cyborg MMO 7 mouse. But it might be a bit outside of your spending limit up there.

They fixed the jitter problem a long time ago.
