ok. But by the looks of things it only looks like its running off 1 hard drive.

What makes you think that?

well thats the exact size of the 2 tb and nothing is from the 1 tbn sooo...

as already mentioned you are limited to the smalest drive so your RAID 0 array will be about as said 1.81TB.. what you can do is creat a partion on the rest of the 2TB amd use it as another logical drive.. your RAID 0 will still have a performance increase of the RAID 0 part as its increases performance due to the data been striped or split over the two drives.. not becuase the physically run faster smile.gif

Download crystaldiskmark then post a screenshot of the results. This will show you your read/write speeds.

Ok, thanks for your help. As long as they run faster im good lol. Before I was running the 1TB alone. so now i have about 900gb more smile.gif
EDIT: And its faster biggrin.gif
It looks like its the same size as the 2tb because your raid is 2tb. Right now it is as if you have 2, 1tb hard drives RAID'd together, rendering the extra 1tb in the 2tb drive useless. Either upgrade to 2, 2tb drives or downgrade to 2, 1tb drives.

If it says that the RAID is active, then you are using both drives.

Yes it does say raid is active when booting up in gigabyte board.
