Now if I can just get someone to help me "mask" the CPUID in VMWare I'll be happy as a pig in a blanket.

To mask CPUID, you must disable hardware acceleration (AMD-V).

Tried it but it's still not working.

Edit - Do you have a lot of experience with it? I could use the guidance.

Thats one of the things I love about the M4, it is very, very consistant, on the 0 fill test, it was almost identical. If your ever in the market for another SSD Bubba, I highly recomend the Crucial M4, or the Samsung 810

I'll keep that in mind. I'm pretty happy with this one considering I paid $109.99 for it.

I don't know, I have LLC but I have updated it many times, especially considering the issue where most games would blue screen with the new FX cpu's.

All 3 990FXA-UD's did not have LLC orginially (well they did, but they were not setable) the UD3 and UD7 both got bios updates to unlock some function of the LLC, while the UD5 did not, the UD3 got a 1.1 revision with improved LLC, the UD5 did not and the UD7 was droped from production.

So in short, do you still need any help tweeking with your FX-6100 on your UD3?
