Conroe Mildly cheap build

Okay for christmas my parents have asked me to get together a list of parts for a computer for my sister so they can buy them and I can build it. She is going to be using it mainly for Web Design with the photo editing that goes along with that. Also she might be doing some light gaming/3d animation, but not that much.So I figured this would be good, I can't really go up in price that much because my parents would like to keep it below $1400.00 which with shipping I am at $1397.

Motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131030
$141.99

CPU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115005
$180.00

RAM:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820227047
$230.00

Case:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811208006
$59.99

Video Card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130017
$155.99

Hard Drive:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144701
$79.99

Monitor
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824014105
$269.99

Mouse/Keyboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16823109022
$29.99

Sound Card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829102178
$74.99

Speakers:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16836121118
$59.99

DVD Drive:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106014
$29.99

Cost: $1312.91
Shipping Costs: $84.53
TOTAL COST: $1397.44

Just so you know, I estimated the shipping, since it won't be built until a month from now I didnt figure all of egg's free shipping deals would still be in effect.

you might want to rethink using a PSU that is sold with a case.............not a good idea especially for the conroe.

I reccomend that you save a bit of money and get the Gigabyte S3, and spend that saved cash on an X-Fi. Trust me, it's worth it. Besides, the S3 is a great overclocker.

This isnt about me saving money, it is about my parents putting a $1400 hard cap (as in unmovable) on it.

Looks like a decent list of parts; is she really going to need/want 5.1 + Audigy2? That's more than $100 right there you can save by going with 2.1 at least...or headphones...

She must be a fairly serious animator; that's a serious computer for the job...

the gigabyte S3 is a great mobo. People have reached near 500 fsb and its a little cheaper then the P5B here this could free up some cash for an upgrade somewhere else

She wants it to "last" to quote her, she basically wants something that she can use for the last two years of college. That is why it is so whoopy.

Also, I plan on mildly overclocking the 6300, just a few hundred mhz, probably get it up to 6400 speeds. Nothing that requires more voltage/aftermarket Heatsink.
