I experienced every one of the things I listed here. I installed Windows more than 10 times trying to isolate the various issues and troubleshoot fixes. These issues are very real and are NOT related to user error, but rather, AMD's inability to program stable drivers.
I now run two GTX 680s in surround, I have had none of the above issues since switching. I have not needed to reinstall Windows and I have experience no blue screens since. I merely uninstalled the AMD software, ran driver sweeper, and installed the 680s and installed drivers. After initial configuration, it has just worked.

i use eyefinity i even use it with crossfire for 1 month and i dint have one single bsod.dunno what you are talking about.also you dont need to tweak your registry.just install the asus gpu tweak and extend your clocks.dont use -xcl command or anything else.i was about 2 months stuck at 12.2 and yesterday i moved on at 12.4. MSI AB final release is out and the glitch for the 2d clock is gone.as i said 60-70 % its user fault.i had problem with skyrim because my mods conflict eash other.but i dont blame amd for that.we know that there are some games with some glitches but nothing for bsod or crash the game.

Wrong. Do some research, this is NOT 60-70% user error, and there are many users experiencing the very same issues. Proof for these numbers please. Oh yes, please give us some proof. Or, please stop spreading this misinformation.

Maybe I should have clicked my heels 3 times instead of 2 when installing the drivers, maybe that was the user error you're speaking of. LOL

you spreading misinformations.coming from 3d guru and having 7970 from release i know a lot of bugs.12.3 and 12.4 is pretty solid and good drivers.there are like so many people without any problem.crossfire have some problems until you configure some options.with the release of 12.3 and 12.4 and the new cap lot of them fixed.and yeah 60-70 % of the problems with the 7000 series is user faults.

All the issues I listed were experienced in 12.3 FYI. With the exception of mucked up dlls, that was caused by going from RC11 to 12.3, so it wasn't solely 12.3 on that one.

when i used the 12.3 was better drivers than RC11.so better iq for my card.and i even see fps increase.if you had 100+ bsod you will easily solved your problem.but it seems that was a hardware problem or conflict with some nvidia older drivers or you should really rma your card.i absolutely havent any real problem with my 7970 even in crossfire the problems was not so much.its the first time ati have so few problems with the drivers.

No, error code 116. There were no drivers to conflict with, it was even on fresh installs. I didn't even OWN an nvidia card when I was having these issues. I bought nvidia because I was tired of it. I did RMA one of the cards.

Nevermind man, I give up. You obviously have no idea about that which you are speaking. Peace.

I really wished the 7970s hadn't given me this much trouble, I really wanted to continue my support for AMD on the GPU side.
