I just wanted to know which of these two would you pick (choosing in the same screen size of course, Asus 15 inch vs msi 15 inch etc..) judging by price/performance and the quality of the laptops (I need it to last for a quite a while)
The budget is around 1500/1600 tops. I am open to any other suggestions too but like I mentioned in the first post, I am not really interested in the barebones stuff. Thanks in advance

I'd much rather go for an MSI model since they're more accessible for upgrades and the 15" model has two internal drive bays, not including the CD drive.

I know you said that the 660M would eventually be able to run like a 670M once drivers mature. But wouldn't that be the same for the 670M? The Clevo tops out at $1,344.00 which is the peak of my budget. 15.6 is my ideal screen size too. I built the G55 with all the same parts as the Clevo but it is showing $1,427.00. With my limited knowledge of gaming PCs I feel that the Clevo from AVADirect would be a better deal correct? I know the G55 has great cooling, but the Clevo i'm not too sure about. Which is touchy for me because I know I will want to overclock the laptop when the time comes.

No, the 670M is the matured 570M. the 660M will surpass the 670M since it hasn't "matured" yet.
The Clevo is the better of the two mentioned here. Trust me, it's got waaay better cooling and will be capable of handling upgrades in the future.
