But anyways back on topic, in the past ive played a few games (sc2, rct2 and such) pretty smoothly on a geforce 320m (which i believe is similar to a hd 3000) seeing as the gt 430 outperforms the hd3000. I would say a gt 430 or similar should perform pretty well in simple games
no i didn't mean to offend, i was just stating a fact that i doubt the PSU would even handle a 550 ti. i like the GT 440 its priced right and may even play crysis on low (ahaha i can dream cant i?)

I have one as back up and have run games like BFBC2 in High Settings with no AA or those eye candy settings. Plays SC2 nicely and many other games at Medium/High with some light overclocking.
not me ever since i got my 4870 i have had nothing but driver issues ,BSOD, massive FPS loss for no reason, games crashing, my entire system locking up while loading CCC and its just goes on and on so i switched to my 8800 and haven't had a single one of those issues since except a performance loss. with that said i will never buy another ati anything as long as i live or until AMD learns how to program better than a 3 day old chimp on crack.
