Nice. I can finally pick up where I left off at lvl 38...the monthly fees just weren't worth it, IMO. Hopefully they fixed the graphical optimization issues, with the Crysis Engine.

Sent from my SAMSUNG Galaxy S.

I played when this first launched, it was pretty good until, like others, I got into the level 20 range and I needed a bajillion xp to level (exaggeration, I know). Combat system was pretty neat, too, and I really enjoyed the crafting, so maybe I'll give this another go.

Wait what...? lmao
People that complained about grinding are complaining cause they couldnt get past level 20? Woah... You can do that easily in 5 hours lmao.
I am an Aion player since it started and believe when I say that you barely touched the grinding part of the game.
You played the tutorial. Plain and simple. And you got bored with the tutorial.

Dont compare Aion to WoW. Rift is = to WoW. Aion isnt. All the games that are = to WoW are simply unplayable to me.

Rift was different than wow, but I didn't really like it. That and the performance issue it has is rediculous.

I never compared it to WoW. Sarcasm, my dear friend.

Also, I played and quit L2 because it was a grindfest. When I found out that Aion was a total grindfest as well post-20 (by seeing my XP needed to level go up nearly 400k XP over what was needed for 19-20), I quit. I never said I couldn't get past level 20, I said that after seeing that, I decided it wasn't worth my time because I had no need of yet another eastern grindfest MMO, boredom had nothing to do with it. Contextual comprehension is a good thing - really.

And for the record, my Warrior was 28 before I finally gave up that horrible grind.

After looking over what you had said...pretty sure you never once said "After seeing the xp I needed to get to lvl 21 I decided it wasn't worth my time". Since when is the number amount of xp an indication of how long it will take? If it takes 5 million exp to get from lvl 20-21, but mobs give you 20,000 exp and a quest could give you 200,000 (made up numbers, but you get the point) then how is looking at a number indicate the grind. You sir are a lazy MMO player who is too use to WoW if that is how you analyze the grind. Not every MMO is cookie cutter easy to get from 1-60 and thats what I enjoy most about games like Aion and L2, it gets rid of you lazy MMO players that expect end game content to be obtainable tomorrow. Like Tokkan said, if you are complaining about a "horrible grind" in the 20s...then don't come back because this game isn't built for you.

Also, no one said you had to even go for top level in this game. That was another fun part for me. We had guild members who would get to 50 and didn't enjoy the one-sided nature of the Abyss, so they rerolled and got to lvl 30-40 and played "tag" in the Elyos areas killing them off and getting nice AP gear (PvP gear). I myself plan to do this coming back into the game as well, I have a lvl 50 sorc which I may go and play on but my new plan is to cause grief to the lower guys because it is fun.

i am new player to AION, and i started a priestess on Kahrun. at first, i was bombarded with chat and introductory menus and windows, but after 2 hours of play, things calmed down, and i had learned to turn off the chat features, as to filter out bot spams and stuff that was not of interest to me (leaving combat info and loot info easier to find.). i am only level 8 now, and i have been attempting to do every quest i find, because normally i would just stick to main story quests.

i find the game somewhat of a refresher, since i left Guild Wars 2 years ago. for now, i think AION is fun, and connection issues have not plagued my game, yet.

I enjoy sorc for the big dps, I always play sorcs in any MMO I do because its what I've become accustomed to but I will be rolling a sin this time around. I can't give my personal experience with a sin yet but I did enjoy playing sorc at all times. Spiritmaster is fun too with the CCs they have and the big DOTs.

Cool, getting my sorc close to 20. It's not bad. At times it's just slow ice, knockback and fire fire lol. The grind is there of course but it's whole lot better than silkroad, kill 1000 of this mob, collect 500 of this. I'm also making a templar and ranger just to see how the other classes work.
