CM690 Advanced II Led bar/stripes, Control via button, need advice

hey guys!

I think I saw it here, a mod of the led fan button on the CM690, so that you can control led hardware with it.

They are flexible, they can be place at the top of my case, front easily, so that I can get some light into my case. At first I was looking for this: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=72_107_835&products_id=25256 but there is not small one, that I could put under the front fan, to have a smal light just for the front. (I don't know either if one put vertically next to the HDD cage, would light a bit the front).

what ya guys would choose?



For the main question, with these led, what would I need to modify the wire from the top button (which has a fan connector) to be able to control all led?

well i use firefox current update been installed etc, also have iexplorer in which i do not use, which i did try and take a look using it but sadly no pics frown.gif

I ordered one of these sets for my 690 II Advanced -> http://www.aquatuning.nl/product_info.php/info/p10254_Sharkoon-Cold-Cathode-Twin-wit---30cm.html

They're cold cathode and they have a PCI-cover with an on/off button on it

Those flexible led strips are pretty flimsy, bending them too much will cause them to not work all the time (or only in a certain position).
