So how does it perform in steady state cond, i mean then it's filled more than 50-60%%. Does it really go into so 'slo-mo' storage mode? Any elaborations on that.

Storage mode is only temporary, then the drive returns to performance mode after it has optimised itself.

See my bench from the other day, i've used 67%

Just leave it idle for 1-2 hours.The garbage collection of this drive is very aggressive,after some time the drive will get its initial performance
