I got it on Amazon. It was only $160, not bad for one of the fastest SSDs around right now.

I pretty much failed at installing it. My case has this weird mounting system where you're supposed to screw these long screws into the hard drive with vibration dampers on them and then slide the dampers into slots. These screws were too big for the 3.5" adapter that OCZ included, and the screws that came with the drive were too short to slide into the slot. I decided to drill out the holes on the 3.5" adapter to fit the larger screws so I could properly mount it but two of the holes wound up being too big to thread. I finally said screw it and stuck it in my case with double sided tape. Hey, it works thumb.gif

I haven't had a chance to install windows yet and get it all set up nice. That's my plan for tonight. I'll install the sims 2 on it (literally the only game I play anymore) and see how fast I can load 5 gigabytes of mods haha

You need a good RAID card for faster speeds...

Yeah I wasn’t sure if this was the best I could accomplish without getting into theoretical limits of the SB.

I just wanted to ask before I buy a raid card.
Got any suggestions on a card?

I have the 256GB one, by the way.

It seems like it's moving along pretty well for SATA II.

I had a lot of trouble switching my board over to AHCI. For a while it just wouldn't boot anything at all.
