I find this Green 2TB drive SOOOOOOO slow I have a old Maxtor 80GB SATA 1 7200RPM that I may install Win 7 on for now cause it was a very fast hard drive when Windows 8 was installed on it. it's a old 2003 model that's still going strong big shock. I will have my new hard drive in less then 3 weeks. The green drive is 5400RPM weird speed for a desktop drive

My green ones arnt too slow, They do 60mb write-80 read Mb/s, Yeah they are 5400rpm as well but the information on the platers is much more dense so it reads faster then a 500gb at 7200rpm.
Raptors do 109 write - 140 read Mb/s Where the SSD does 190 write 288 read Mb/s with a seak time of 0.9ms compared to the 6ms green and 2ms raptors.

If you read the feedback on the hard drive I have you will see a lot of people saying this drive isn't a good Windows boot drive cause it's slow. It's a good hard drive if it's not used for Windows boot. Also I have Windows installed on the old 80GB Maxtor SATA 1 hard drive and Windows is running faster. Weird
